Glenn is a radio & internet broadcaster. Host of the Radio Wammo Breakfast Show on the Kiwi FM Network & The Climate Show in New Zealand -the Radio Wammo Show is much, much more than just a quality Kiwi jukebox to start the day.

It provides plenty of food for thought – with a range of regular correspondents and special guests from the cutting edge of the arts, music, science, media, new technology and new media providing informed (but never dull) comment.

Sam Hunt, Vaughn Davis, Jayson Bryant, Russell Brown and many others make sure of that.

It’s also breaking new ground in the ways that radio and new media/technology can be integrated -
• using webcams to film and stream the whole show live via a a Ustream player that can be embedded onto any website Facebook or anywhere else.
• live vision-mixing between presenters, guests, videos, web pages and images using the same audio as on the radio but offering a completely different experience.
• From there posting the interviews onto YouTube, usually within 10 minutes of finishing an interview.

We are delighted that Glenn can come along to showcase the site and we have a special surprise for him.

With new technologies and online communication growing, the way that people consume information is changing.

With all of the fragmentation of media, it can be difficult to navigate where people’s attention lies, and build a communication strategy to talk to people in the spaces that they’re actually in. During this workshop we’ll introduce the ‘Engagement Pyramid’, and look at creating and curating private label media channels online.

Courtney has a Masters in Management Studies from the University of Waikato and a diploma in eCommerce from Media Design School. She has worked on many leading brands in both the public and private sectors. Courtney blogs for TV3 News and has her own blog at http://courtneylambert.co.nz

Online Video – Wine Vault Way

Jayson Bryant @The WineVault owns the Wine Vault wine store at 453 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn. Recently he even managed to get US wine tv supremo Gary Vaynerchuk on for a tasting.

Wine Vault TV has reinvented the concept of wine tasting in New Zealand and along the way found a new and willing audience. In addition to encouraging straightforward wine tasting, Jayson educates viewers about the effects of regional factors (soil, sun, wind) on wine flavours, and how to buy wine.
