We asked around and the answer was – “Not many – if any”.

We’ve decided great coffee is essential and we are very delighted to announce that we will have a barista and fresh coffee on location sponsored by CoffeeSupreme.

Coffee Supreme supply around 300 cafes in NZ and Australia and they also import and sell coffee machines and other coffee goodies.

Thanks to the Supreme team at everyone at the conference will have great freshly roasted coffee.

“Coffee Supreme specializes in roasting, espresso preparation technique, equipment and expert technical support. Since the early 90′s they have been at the forefront of driving up coffee quality standards in New Zealand and fostering espresso craft skills.

In New Zealand, Supreme is Wellington based with support offices in Auckland and Christchurch. In Australia Supreme roast in Melbourne and provide a complete café support service.

Our purpose is simple: to make quality commonplace and to help our café owners succeed in providing their customers with beautiful drinks.”

Follow Supreme on Twitter at @Supreme_Benn and book those tickets now.

Want to make better coffee at home?

“Some of the best coffee around is made not in the café, but in the kitchen. Like great coffee anywhere, it is freshly roasted, freshly ground, and crucially it’s made with care and attention to the little details that count.

To achieve good coffee at home is actually pretty simple. With just a little effort, you can enjoy huge rewards. What trips most people up is lack of information about which little details to obsess over.

Here’s a quick guide to improve your home coffee – three basic steps, and some pitfalls to avoid.” Continue reading over at Coffee Supreme
